C'mon In, Patreon's Fine!

I'm still writing and drawing, just not so much here.

If you were to judge my productivity by the number of blog posts on this site, I would come up wanting (not that blogs per se are really in vogue, anyway). I am actively working every day, partly as a media consultant for my old record label, partly as an artist rep for my comics distributor, and mostly as an independent comics creator.

We're entering a slow season with no comics shows until August, when things get busy again. I intend to use this time to be more productive on my main platform, Patreon, where I publish something every two weeks or so. Lately I've been writing and drawing nine-panel comics essays, ranging from memoir, to food, and politics, all with the customary pop-culture angle that you’ve come to expect. It’s been a fertile format and with a few more supporters, I could kick them up to weekly.

If that sounds interesting, why not join the party? You can start as a free member, and prowl around through dozens of older posts and comics. If you’d like to join as a paid member, you'll get my latest work as it is published (as well as all the rest of my content)— and you’ll get a new physical comic at the end of the year. Such a deal... But seriously, I'd love to have you join us on Patreon so that we can stay in touch. And your presence helps encourage others to join as well. Social media may be the healthiest places for indie creators, but platforms like Patreon just might be a cure. Thanks for giving it a try!
